She has been studying for the well known professor Otto Kunzli at the Arts Academy in Munich, Germany, where she became acknowledged as the best student in her class. Since then she lived and worked in Munich. At the end of 2009 she and her family emigrated to Wellington. At Schmuck in Munich, she is now one of the most well known participants.

"If the metal brooch had been plastic I couldn´t have broken the sheep`s legs like that, so you could say the nature of the material dictated how it turned out“.

"One issue of this work is a study into the differences between an acceptable notion of beauty or stereo-type, and something else - the search for an aesthetic that we hardly ever see, but nevertheless perhaps recognise.
This is reactionary work, consciously active with influences from all walks of culture and life. The pieces are often laced with references to contemporary jewellery of the last 40 years, questioning and researching what jewellery means, what it can be."

Sometimes - mirrors of a subconscious esthetic
In May 2008 Lisa Walker showed more than 50 objects in a soloexhibition at Platina.
The exhibition "Sometimes" was a reference to her way of creating art with a multitude of objects and ideas at a time.
